16 Americans are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime, in one of the oldest countries in the world, China. Over the next 39 days, the survivors will experience a culture that dates back nearly five thousand years. Their adventure will play out in a remote section of China where they will live on the lake of a thousand islands. This is a harsh and remote land that will challenge even the toughest survivors. It is the ultimate challenge, 16 people from different walks of life, forced to work together to make a new society, while battling the elements and each other. They must learn to adapt or they will be voted out. In the end only 1 will remain to claim the 1 000 000$ prize.
